ICMAB delegation meets Financial Institutions Division Secretary
DHAKA, Jan 28, 2021 (BSS) – A delegation of Institute of Cost and
Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB), led by its President Md. Jasim
Uddin Akand, met Senior Secretary of Financial Institutions Division Md.
Ashadul Islam, at his office yesterday.
During the meeting, they discussed national economic issues and
professional matters related to ICMAB.
The ICMAB president apprised the Senior Secretary regarding the present
status and activities of the institute and sought all out support from the
government for its further development, said a press release.
Ashadul highly appreciated the role of the professional accountants in the
economic development of the country and assured to provide full co-operation
for the development of CMA profession.
President of SAFA and former President of ICMAB AKM Delwer Hussain,
Treasurer Md Ali Haider Chowdhury were present, among others, in the meeting.
