Fake fertilizer factory fined Tk. 50,000 in Rangpur
RANGPUR, Jan 27, 2021 (BSS) – A mobile court seized huge adulterated fertilizers and other goods worth TK 20 lakh from a fake factory ‘Chahsi Gypsum Company’ and fined its owner TK 50,000 at Ansari Mour in Tazhat area in the metropolis today.
The court seized huge quantities of chemicals, various kinds of fake gypsum fertilizers, raw materials of gypsum, fake pesticides and different types of monograms and labels worth TK 20 lakh from the factory during the raid.
“Detective Branch (DB) of Rangpur Metropolitan Police (RpMP) conducted the drive led by Executive Magistrate Nashitatul Islam,” said a press release.
Additional Deputy Police Commissioner (DB) of RpMP Uttam Kumar Pathak, Assistant Police Commissioner (DB) Md. Faruk Ahmed, Inspector Motaleb Hossain, Sub-inspectors Golam Morshed, Babul Islam, Nazmul Islam and Taslim Uddin Ahmed were present.
