BNNRC to launch campaign for Covid-19 vaccination
DHAKA, Jan 26, 2021(BSS) – Bangladesh NGOs Network for Radio and
Communication (BNNRC) will launch a countrywide campaign for promoting Covid-
19 vaccination.
As part of the campaign, BNNRC organized an online orientation programme
today styled COVID-19 Vaccine Education and Counter Misinformation,
Disinformation with Community Radio in Bangladesh.
A total of 33 participants from 18 Community Radio and two Visual Radio
joined the orientation programme. The main objective of the orientation was
to create the right environment for vaccination.
AHM Bazlur Rahman, chief executive officer of BNNRC, highlighted the
objectives of the programme and said the radio stations will play vital role
to prevent misinformation about the Covid-19 vaccination.
BNNRC Assistant Coordinator (BNNRC) Protiva Banerjee and Programme
Coordinator Mark Manash Saha spoke at the orientation programme, among
others.
