Russia adds 18,241 COVID-19 cases
MOSCOW, Jan 26, 2021 (BSS/XINHUA) – Russia registered 18,241 new COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours, bringing the nationwide tally to 3,756,931, the country’s COVID-19 response center said Tuesday.
A total of 3,174,561 people have so far recovered from the disease, with 23,798 recoveries registered over the previous day.
Another 564 coronavirus deaths were confirmed, taking the country’s death toll to 70,482.
In Moscow, the worst-hit region in Russia, cases went up by 2,317 to 917,825.
Russia has so far conducted more than 100 million COVID-19 tests.
