250 cold-stricken people get blankets in Rangpur
RANGPUR, Jan 25, 2021 (BSS) – Some 250 cold-stricken poor and distressed people of Ward No-20 in Rangpur City Corporation (RpCC) area got blankets at a function held today at Engineer Para in the city.
With assistance of the district administration and under management of RpCC, Mayor of Rangpur Mostafizur Rahman Mostafa distributed the blankets allocated from the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund as the chief guest.
Presided over by City Councilor (Ward No-20) Tauhidul Islam, Deputy Commissioner Md. Asib Ahsan, District Relief and Rehabilitation Officer ATM Akhteruzzaman and RpCC officials attended the function.
