JAMALPUR, Jan 22, 2021 (BSS) – State Minister for Information Murad Hassan today said Bangladesh Awami League and its President Sheikh Hasina always stand by the people as vanguards in any disaster.
“The way AL stood by the flood- and drought-affected people, it will remain beside the cold-stricken people in the same way…Awami League always does politics for the country and its people,” he said.
Murad made the comments while distributing winter clothes among the cold-hit people on the Boyra Israel Ahmed High School ground at Sarisabari upazila here this morning, a ministry press release said.
He said the politics of those hatching conspiracy and spreading propaganda against the country without standing by people has finished.
“Once their names will get erased from the soil of this country,” the state minister added.
Chaired by Sarisabari Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Shihab Uddin Ahmed, the function was addressed, among others, by Senior Vice President of Upazila Juba League Farid Ahmed, Chairman of Pogaldigha Union Parisad Sams Uddin and President of Mahadan Union Awami League Azmat Ali Master and heroic freedom fighter Lutfar Rahman Lulu.
