Arefin Siddique mourns death of Khalid, telephone in-charge of BSS
DHAKA, Jan 21, 2021 (BSS)- Professor Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS), has expressed deep grief over the death of Mohammad Khalid Hossain in a road accident.
In a condolence message today, he prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed his sympathy to the bereaved family.
In his message, Siddique demanded exemplary punishment to those responsible for the death of Khalid Hossain and adequate compensation from them to his family.
Khalid, a BSS officer, was on way to his office on a motorbike from his house in the eastern part of Demra police station at around 2.15pm on Wednesday when a Dhaka South City Corporation garbage truck crushed his motorcycle at the Dayaganj intersection of Gandaria police station.
He was killed on the spot.
A case has been filed with Gandaria police station in this regard.
