Two matches of BPL football to be held tomorrow
DHAKA, Jan 18, 2021 (BSS)- The second round of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) begins tomorrow (Tuesday) with two matches slated on the day at Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS) here.
Holders Bashundhara Kings will take on Bangladesh Police Football Club in the day’s first match at 3.30 pm while Brothers Union Club meet Abahani Limited, Dhaka in the day’s second encounter of the fixture at 6 pm.
On the following day (Wednesday), old Dhaka outfit Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society will play against Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra at BNS in the lone encounter at 4 pm while Mohammedan Sporting Club will take on Saif Sporting Club on January 21 at Shaheed Dhirendranath Stadium in Comilla at 3 pm.
Chittagong Abahani Limited will meet Arambagh Krira Sangha at 3.30 pm while Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra faces Lieutenant Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club at 6 pm , both to be held on January 21 at BNS.
Earlier, Bashundhara Kings made a winning start in the league beating Uttar Baridhara Club by 2-0 goals while Abahani Limited edge past Bangladesh Police Football Club by a solitary goal, both in their respective first round matches.
Earlier, on Sunday night, the Bangladesh Football Federation released the fixture of the BPL up to tenth round.
