DHAKA, Jan 18, 2021 (BSS) – Maria Howlader FCA has been nominated as the
new Chairperson of Women Leadership Committee of South Asian Federation of
Accountants (SAFA) for the tenure of 2021-22.
SAFA is the forum of accounting professional in the South Asian Region. She
is also a Vice-President (Operations & Members Services) of the Institute of
Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh(ICAB) and founder of Howlader Maria & Co.
(HmAC) Chartered Accountants (Member Firm of TGS Global), said a press
release here today.
Howlader is the Chairman of Women Members Empowerment and Leadership
Development Committee (WME & LDC) of ICAB.
She has been serving Bangladesh Audit, Accounting and Advisory Practice
since 2008, it added.
