RAJSHAHI, Jan 17, 2021 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), in two separate anti-crime drives, arrested two alleged drug peddlers with 965 yaba tablets and 130 grams of heroin here today.
According to the RAB sources, the arrested persons were identified as Ratan Islam, 25, and Mithun Ali, 30.
A team of the elite force, being informed, conducted a raid in Muktarpur area under Charghat upazila and arrested Ratan Islam with 965 yaba tablets around 9.30 am red-handed, RAB sources here said this afternoon.
Another RAB team arrested Mithun with 130 grams of heroin after conducting a raid at Bagdamari village under Godagari upazila around 3.45 pm.
Two separate cases were recorded with the respective police stations and the arrested persons along with the seized goods were handed over to police.
