Road accident kills one in Faridpur
FARIDPUR, July 11, 2018 ( BSS )- A man was killed in a road accident on
the Dhaka-Khulna Highway near Faridpur Jute Fibers area in Kanaipur union
under Faridpur Sadar upazila here this afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Ashik Jolla, 23, son of Tota Jolla of
Laxmipur village under Kanaipur union.
Sub-Inspector (SI) of Sadar Thana Md Nizamul Islam said the accident
occurred when a running truck ran over Ashik in the area as its driver lost
control over the steering around 3 pm, leaving him dead on the spot.
Later, the body was sent to Faridpur Medical College Hospital morgue for
autopsy.
A case was filed in this connection.
