Tk 4.30 crore agriculture loan disbursed in Jamalpur
JAMALPUR, Jan 15, 2021 (BSS) – Sonali Bank Ltd has disbursed Taka 4.30 crore soft term agriculture loan among 1500 farmers in the district during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020-2021 fiscal year through its 10 branches.
The bank has disbursed Taka 2.30 crore loan among 1000 farmers on various crops with 4 percent interest.
On the other hand, Taka 2 crore was disbursed among 500 farmers on various crops without any interest to mark the ‘Mujib Year’.
Deputy General Manager of the bank Md Mahmudul Haque said the aim of the loan disbursement is to extend help to the farmers during the covid-19 pandemic for increasing production.
