‘Initiative to be taken to build health centers in 41 wards in CCC’

CHATTOGRAM, Jan 14, 2021 (BSS) – Awami League (AL) nominated mayoral candidate M Rezaul Karim Chowdhury said that if he becomes the city mayor, he will build health centers in 41 wards of the city.

He made the remarks at an election rally held at Agrabad Ward No. 24 in the city on Thursday.

Rezaul Karim Chowdhury said that many people cast doubt about the completion of Padma Bridge, Karnafuli Tunnel and Metro Rail. “The Padma Bridge has been completed, 61 percent construction works of Karnafuli Tunnel has been completed and the work of Metro Rail is also progressing,” he added.

Under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, various development works are being carried out successfully, he added.

Rezaul vowed to eradicate terrorism and built a drug-free port city.

Every open space for children will be converted into a playground, Rezaul said, adding because of inadequate number of playgrounds in the port city, children are forced to play indoors.

AL leaders ATM Peyarul Islam, Syed Mahmudul Haque, Sirajul Islam, Abdus Samad, Jahangir Alam, Abdur Rahman Mia, Abdul Barek, MA Hannan Kajal, Nazmul Haque Duke, Osman Gani Alamgir, among others, accompanied him during the election campaign.
