One dies as AC explodes in city’s Gulshan
DHAKA, Jan 13, 2021 (BSS) – One person was killed and six others were injured in an explosion of AC at a high-rise building at Gulshan-2 here this afternoon.
Md Azizul Haque, 35, who was AC mechanic by profession, died on the spot.
“The blast took place on the ground floor of the 14-storey NCC building at Gulshan-2 around 1:45pm… On information, police and fire service from Baridhara rushed to the spot and carried out the rescue operation,” DMP’s Gulshan division deputy commissioner (DC) Sudip Kumar Chakraborty told BSS.
Six people injured in the blast were rescued and sent to United Hospital, he said.
