KHULNA, Jan 12, 2021 (BSS) – Police arrested six members of an inter-district robber syndicate from different districts on Monday.
The arrested are Sayeedul Gazi, Imran Gazi, Bappy Gazi, Mehedi Hasan, Al- Ameen and Takbeer Hossain.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Paikgachha Police Station Ezaz Shafi told BSS that a gang of robbers looted valuables including gold ornaments and cash money worth about Taka seven lakh while committing robbery at King Fisher Paribahan in Godipur Kartiker mour area under Paikgachha upazila around 1.30am on December 14.
On December 15, Asadur Rahman, supervisor of the Paribahan, filed a case against four unnamed robbers with Paikgachha Police Station in this connection.
The robbers were arrested from different areas after using mobile technology, the OC said.
Earlier, several cases have been lodged in different police station against the arrested, he added.
