12,977 people to get NID smart cards in Narail
NARAIL, Jan 12, 2021 (BSS) – A total of 12,977 registered voters of
Narail Municipality and Sadar upazila of the district will get new smart
National Identity Card (NID) or Smart Card.
The distribution of the smart national identity cards has started in 13
unions of Sadar upazila from last 26 December.
The NID card distribution activities will continue till January 18,
2021. If anybody is not able to collect NID card within the due date he/she
will have to collect the cards from the Sadar upazila Election Office later.
Upazila Election officer Md Kamruzzaman said 11,688 smart cards were
distributed among the voters and rest 1289 cards will be distributed within
18 January.
