Journalist’s wife passes away
CHATTOGRAM, Jan 11, 2021 (BSS) -Shaila Chowdhury, wife of Chief Reporter of Daily PurbokoneNosher Ali Khan, died at a city hospital due to cancerearly today at the age of 61.
Shaila Chowdhury, a former teacher at Shershah Colony Primary School left behind a son, a daughter, husband and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn her death.
She was buried at Mobarakkhill village family graveyard under Raozan upazila of the district after 2nd namaz-e-janaza around 5 pm.
Meanwhile, Chattogram Press Club president Ali Abbas and General Secretary (GS) Chowdhury Farid, president of Chattogram Union of Journalists (CUJ) Mohammad Ali and GS M Shamsul, among others, expressed deep shock and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
