DHAKA, Jan 11, 2021 (BSS) – Awami League (AL) General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Rawshan Ara Wahed Rani, former President of Pirganj upazila AL Rangpur.
Rani was wife of late Abdul Wahed Kanu Miah, elder brother of late internationally reputed Nuclear Scientist Dr MA Wazed Miah.
In a condolence message, AL General Secretary conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family members and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
She passed away early today at her residence in Laldighee Fatehpur village in Pirganj upazila at the age of 72.
She is survived by two daughters, two sons, grandchildren and a number of relatives and admirers to mourn her death.
