Drug peddler held with 1,250 yaba tablets in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Jan 11, 2021 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) during a drive arrested an alleged drug peddler with 1,250 pieces of contraband yaba tablets from Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj district this afternoon.
The arrested person was identified as Md. Im Ali, 22, of Pirojpur village under Shibganj upazila of the district.
RAB said acting on secret information, an operation team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp raided Baliadighi village under Shahbajpur union of Shibganj upazila at 2:30 pm and arrested the drug peddler with the yaba tablets.
Later, the arrested person was handed over to Shibganj thana police.
A case was recorded with the police station in this connection.
