Deputy Speaker mourns death of Rawshan Ara Wahed Rani
DHAKA, Jan 11, 2021 (BSS) – Deputy Speaker Fazley Rabbi Miah today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Rangpur’s Pirganj upazila Awami League (AL) advisory council member Rawshan Ara Wahed Rani.
Rani was also the former President of Pirganj upazila AL and wife of former Vice- President of Rangpur AL Abdul Wahed Kanu Miah.
The deputy speaker prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Rawshan Ar Wahed Rani, also sister-in law of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, died of old age complications at 4.30 am today at her Fatehpur residence in Pirganj at the age of 80.
She will be buried at her family graveyard after her second namaj-e janaza following the Asr prayer on Fatehpur Joysadan premises. Her first namaj-e janaza was held after Johr prayer on Monday on Pirganj government High School premises.
