NARSINGDI, Jan 10, 2021 (BSS) – The historic Homecoming Day of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was observed in the district today in a befitting manner.
Marking the day, a discussion was held at Shibpur upazila Awami League office highlighting the life and works of Bangabandhu.
Vice-president of the district Awami League Johirul Hoque Bhuiyan Mohan MP addressed the discussion meeting as chief guest while president of Shibpur upazila Awami League and the upazila chairman Harun or Rashid Khan was in the chair.
The meeting was also addressed, among others, by general secretary of the upazila Awami League Shumsul Alam Bhuiyan Rakhil, vice-presidents Mohsin Nazir, Azizur Rahman Khan Bulu and joint general secretary Asaduzzaman Ashad.
