Workshop on ‘writing research proposal’ for DU teachers held
DHAKA, Jan 10, 2021 (BSS) – A virtual workshop on writing research proposal titled ‘how to write a research proposal (PhD & project)’ for the teachers of Dhaka University held today.
DU Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic) Prof. Dr. A. S. M. Maksud Kamal inaugurated the workshop as chief guest, organised by Dhaka University (DU) Centre of Excellence in Teaching & Learning (CoETL), said a press release.
Prof. Dr. Kazi Matin Uddin Ahmed of the Geology Department and Prof. Dr. Ishtiaque M. Syed of the Physics Department attended the program as resource persons.
While addressing, Maksud Kamal said the Centre has been playing a significant role in enhancing professional development of teachers of the university.
He gave special emphasis on the quality of teaching and pragmatic product-oriented research in the university on the eve of DU’s birth centenary.
Director of the Centre Prof. Dr. Sabita Rezwana Rahman delivered welcome speech in the workshop while Additional Director of CoETL Dr. A.T.M. Shamsuzzoha attended the program as special guest.
DU CoETL successfully organizes a series of workshops for DU teachers and officers aiming to achieve Quality Higher Education.
