Bangabandhu’s Homecoming Day observed in Manikganj
MANIKGANJ, Jan 10, 2021 (BSS) – The historic Homecoming Day of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was observed in the district today in a befitting manner.
Marking the day, leaders and activists of the district Awami League (AL) brought out a colourful rally that paraded the main roads in the town.
Besides, a discussion was held at the district Awami League office after the rally highlighting the life and works of Bangabandhu.
President of the district Awami League Advocate Golam Mohiuddin presided over the meeting. Vice-president of the district Awami League Advocate Abdul Majid Photo, vice-president ABM Helal Uddin, general secretary Advocate Abdus Salam, organizing secretary Sudeb Saha and joint secretary Advocate Badrul Islam Khan Bodru, among others, spoke at the discussion.
