100 farmers to get irrigation connection in Panchagarh
PANCHAGARH, Jan 10, 2021 (BSS) – About 100 farmers are getting irrigation
connection line for cultivation Boro paddy this season in Sadar upazila of
the district.
On the occasion, irrigation pump license papers were distributed among the
selective farmers at a simple function here today. Sadar upazila Chairman
Amirul Islam distributed the license papers to the farmers as the chief
guest.
He said the distribution of irrigation pump license has started from today
which will be remain continue.
Every farmer will get an irrigation pump in turn and they will easily
benefit from it through cultivating their respective lands, the chairman
added.
Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Arif Hossein presided over the
function while Female vice-chairman Nilufar Yeasmin and others were present.
