1,319 shelterless families to get houses in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, January 10, 2021 (BSS)- As a gift of the Mujib Borsho by
the Prime Minister 1,319 shelterless families would get houses in
Chapainawabganj district.
These houses are being constructed under Ashrayan-2 project.
According to the Chapainawabganj district administration sources, the
construction of 130 houses in Chapainawabganj Sadar upazila, 737 houses in
Shibganj upazila, 95 houses in Gomostapur upazila, 200 houses in Nachole
upazila and 157 houses in Bholahat upazila nears completion.
Chapainawabganj district and the five upazila administrations have been
monitoring the construction work so that it can be completed by January 15 as
the Prime Minister is likely to inaugurate the distribution of the houses all
over Bangladesh on coming January 20, said the Additional Deputy Commissioner
of Chapainawabganj AKM Tazkir-uz-Zaman.
Each tinshed house with two rooms, a kitchen and an attached bathroom is
being constructed at a cost of Tk. 1,71,000.
Chapainawabganj district administration has added Tk. 10,000 more for the
construction of each of the houses in order to make the houses stronger and
more long lasting, he added.
