AL means democracy, development: Humayun
NARSINGDI, Jan 9, 2021 (BSS) – Industries Minister Nurul Majid
Mahmud Humayun today said that Awami League means democracy and
development as the party has pulled the country in the highways of
development.
The minister said this while addressing as chief guest the
inaugural ceremony of the newly built 49 Habishpur Mazar Government
Primary School at Patuli Union under Belabo Upazila in the district.
He said around Taka 800 crore has been allocated to improve the
rural infrastructures of Belabo-Monohordi and with such huge amount,
it will be possible to develop not only Belabo-Monohordi, but also to
change the facelift of the entire district.
The industries minister said the present government is pledge-bound
to make infrastructural development of each and every educational
institution while Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is now a ‘role model’
of development before the whole world.
“Awami League is now in the highways of development. But, the
critics can’t see such development of Awami League. The news of such
huge extent of development, carried out by the government, should be
spread through the grassroots leaders and workers,” he added.
Chaired by Belabo UNO Shamima Sharmin, the programme was attended,
among others, by Belabo upazila chairman and upazila Awmi League
President M Shamser Jaman Bhuiyan Riton, upazila AL general secretary
M Nazrul Islam, upazila vice chairman Sharmin Akhter Khaleda.
Later, the minster visited the cluster village at Patuli Union
under Belabo upazila.
