One killed, 12 injured in Narail road accident
NARAIL, Jan 9, 2021 (BSS) – A person was killed and 12 others were injured in a road accident in Singia-Harigara area under Narail Sadar Upazila of the district today.
The deceased was identified as Al Amin Sheikh, 32, son of Maqbul Sheikh of Bhadrabila-Maharag village under Narail Sadar upazila.
According to police and eyewitnesses, the accident occured when the driver of a passenger bus lost control over the steering and fell into a road side ditch around 3pm in Singia-Harigara area of Narail-Magura road, leaving one person dead and 12 others injured.
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Narail Sadar Police Station, Md Elias Hossain said police recovered the body from the spot and sent it to Narail Sadar Hospital Morgue for autopsy.
A general Diary was filed in this connection, the OC added.
