Training plane faces accident in Rajshahi

RAJSHAHI, Jan 9, 2021 (BSS) – A two-seated training plane faced an accident at Shah Makhdum Airport in Rajshahi today with no casualty reported.

Security Supervisor of the airport Abdul Matin confirmed the incident saying the pilot and his trainer have been rescued safely from the spot.

He added that a Cessna-152 model training aircraft of Galaxy Flying Academy was landing at the airport around 3pm and one of its tyres went off all of a sudden.

Matin, however, said the flying academy officials were working to identify the reason behind the accident that causes some damage to the plane.

Chief Flying Trainer of the academy Captain Moshiur Rahman was in the training seat, while trainee Raihan Gafur was in the second seat, he added.
