Brick kiln labour electrocuted in Manikganj
MANIKGANJ, Jan 07, 2021 (BSS) –A Brick kiln labour was killed after being electrocuted in the brick field in Hashli area of Putail Union under Manikganj Sadar Upazila of the district.
The deceased was identified as Nobin Mia, 36, son of Azhar Ali of Sherpur Upazila under Bogura district.
Nasir Uddin, Chairman of Betila-Mitora Union said labour Nobin Mia was electrocuted at about 12. 15 pm when he went there to start the boiler of the Brick kiln.
Seriously wounded Nobin was rushed to Manikganj district 250-bed hospital, where the doctors declared him dead.
