DHAKA, Jan 6, 2021 (BSS) – The 11th meeting of Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education was held at Sangsad Bhaban today.
Committee Chairman Mustafizur Rahman presided over the meeting , an official release said.
Committee members – State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Md Zakir Hosain, Meher Afroz, Nazrul Islam Babu, Shirin Akhter, Ferdousi Islam and Kazi Monirul Islam participated in the meeting.
The meeting discussed Compulsory Implementation of Primary Education Monitoring Unit activities, progress of different ongoing projects and training programmes under National Academy for Primary Education (NAPE).
The meeting recommended for taking emergency steps to set up primary schools on priority basis where there is no primary school within the vicinity of at least 6.5 kilometers of Basugram under Nachole upazila at Chapainawabganj.
It suggested for in depth explanation from the ministry for either cancellation or revise transfer policy of the employees in any requirement.
