Teenage girl killed in Khagrachari road accident
KHAGRACHARI, Jan 6, 2021 (BSS) – A teenage girl was killed and six others were injured in a road accident in Alutila area of the district this morning.
The deceased , Nusrat Jahan, hailed from Matiranga upazila of the district.
Police said the accident occurred when a speedy truck hit a CNG-run auto-rickshaw from behind in Alutila bridge area, leaving seven people critically injured on the spot.
The wounded were brought to Khagrachari Sadar Hospital where the duty doctors declared Nusrat, who was heading towards Khagrachari along with her mother, dead.
A case was filed in this connection.
