AL starts distributing nomination papers for municipality polls tomorrow
DHAKA, Jan 4, 2020 (BSS) – The Awami League (AL) will start the distribution of nomination papers tomorrow for the selection of candidates for elections in 56 municipalities.
The party has called upon aspiring candidates to start collecting nomination papers from Awami League President Sheikh Hasina’s political office at Dhanmondi in the capital from tomorrow and submit those within the stipulated time maintaining health guidelines amid the coronavirus pandemic, said a press release.
The nomination papers will be distributed from 11am to 5pm every day till January 11.
Each candidate has to bring a photocopy of National ID card to collect nomination form, added the press release.
