MYMENSINGH, Dec 3, 2021 (BSS) – Seven persons including six of a same family were killed and two others injured in a collision between a passenger bus and a CNG run auto rickshaw in Tarakanda upazila of the district this afternoon.
The deceased were identified as Md Faruk ,25, his wife Masuma Begum ,20, his newborn daughter, brother Nizamuddin, sister-in-law Josna Begum ,25 and sister Julekha Khatun ,35).
However, identity of the auto-rickshaw driver could not be known immediately.
Locals said the accident took place at around 1:15 pm in Gachpara Bazar area in the upazila.
Six persons died on the spot while another succumbed to injuries on way to hospital, Officer-in-Charge of Tarakanda Thana Abul Khayer confirmed.
