Information minister mourns death of joint secretary’s elder brother
DHAKA, Jan 3, 2021 (BSS) – Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Dr Abul Kalam, elder brother of the ministry’s joint secretary SM Mahfuzul Haque.
In a condolence message, Hasan, also Awami League joint general secretary, prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Dr Kalam died at a hospital in the city on Saturday while undergoing treatment.
