5.1-magnitude quake hits southern Mid-Atlantic Ridge – USGS
BEIJING, Jan. 3, 2021 (BSS/Xinhua) – An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1
jolted southern Mid-Atlantic Ridge at 0327 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological
Survey (USGS) said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at
52.1656 degrees south latitude and 4.9797 degrees west longitude.
