Rupali Bank distributes 800 blankets in Chilmari
RANGPUR, Jan 2, 2021 (BSS) – The Rupali Bank Limited (RBL) distributed 800 pieces of quality blankets among the cold-hit distressed people of Chilmari upazila in Kurigram on Friday afternoon to mitigate their sufferings.
The blankets were distributed in a function held at Chilmari Degree College ground in the upazila town under patronisation of Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of RBL Md. Obayed Ullah Al Masud.
Gallantry award winner freedom fighter and Chilmari upazila chairman Shawkat Ali Sarker, Bir Bikram, distributed the blankets in the function as the chief guest.
With Senior Principal Officer of RBL at its Rangpur divisional office Md. Zakir Hossain in the chair, Chilmari Upazila Nirbahi Officer AWM Raihan Shah, Thanahat union chairman Abdur Razzaque Milon attended the ceremony as special guests.
On the occasion, the chief guest called upon the authorities of different banks, financial institutions, social and voluntary organisations and affluent people in the society to stand beside the cold-hit people to mitigate their sufferings.
