Govt distributes 32,000 blankets among destitute people in Manikganj
MANIKGANJ, Jan 01, 2021 (BSS) – The government has distributed about 32,000 blankets among cold-affected poor people in all seven upazilas in the district.
Manikganj District Relief and Disaster Management Office sources said the government allocated 31, 900 blankets for the cold affected people to reduce their suffering.
Each of the 65 unions and two municipalities are getting 460 blankets for distribution.
Most of the blankets have already been distributed through the Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO), added the sources.
