2 held with 10 kg ganja in Naogaon
NAOGAON, Dec 31, 2020 (BSS) – Detective Branch(DB) of police in separate drives held two drug traders with 10 kilograms of ganja in the district last night.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Engineer Abdul Mannan Mia disclosed this at a press conference at DB police office in the town this noon.
He said on information they conducted a raid at around 10:30 pm in Aushtomatra area in Patnitala Upazila and arrested Jamirul Islam, 35, with five kilograms of ganja.
In another drive in Kalikapur area in Manda Upazila DB police held Ebadot Hossain, 35, with five 5 kilograms ganja.
Two cases were filed with two respective police stations.
SP said they seized 172 bottles of phensidyl from Patnitala and Dhamoirhat Upazila in the district in the last 24 hours.
Inspector of DB police KM Samsuddin was present the press conference.
