One killed in Tangail road accident
TANGAIL, July 10, 2018 (BSS) – A pickup van driver was killed as his
vehicle hit a standing truck in Pratimabanki check post area under Sakhipur
upazila of the district this morning.
The deceased was identified as Ratan Miah, 35, son of Amir Ali, a resident
of Karotia area in Sadar upazila.
Sub inspector (SI) of Sakhipur police station Sukanto Roy said the
accident occurred on the Sakhipur-Gorai road when the pickup van hit the
bamboo-laden truck from behind, leaving its driver Ratan dead on the spot.
