Admission to govt. schools thru’ lottery postponed
DHAKA, Dec 30, 2020 (BSS) – Enrolment of student from class one to
nine through lottery in government secondary schools across the
country scheduled for today has been suspended due to a pending writ
petition in the High Court (HC).
“Conducting of lottery slated for today for enrolment of students
into class one to nine in secondary schools has been postponed as the
writ petition 1030/2020 remains pending in the HC,” said an official
statement signed by Department of Secondary and Higher Education
(DSHE) Director General Prof Syed Md Golam Faruki here today.
The new date and time of the lottery will be informed later, it added.
