JaPa to organize programmes marking its founding anniversary
DHAKA, Dec 30, 2020 (BSS) – Jatiya Party (JaPa) has taken various programmes marking the party’s founding anniversary on January 1.
Marking the day, JaPa Chairman and Deputy Leader of the Opposition in Parliament GM Quader and Secretary General Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu will hoist national and party flags in front of the party’s central office in the city’s Kakrail area at 9am on January 1, 2021, said a press release here today.
Simultaneously, they will place floral wreath at the portrait of the party’s founding chairman Hussain Muhammad Ershad. Party leaders and workers of all levels will remain present on the occasion.
Later, a discussion will be held at 3pm with the party chairman in the chair and a cultural function at 6pm at the party’s Banani office in the city.
The party’s central and Banani offices will be decorated and illuminated, marking the founding anniversary.
The leaders and workers of the party have been urged to attend the programmes, maintaining health guidelines amid the global coronavirus pandemic.
