DHAKA, Dec. 28, 2020 (BSS)- Saif Sporting Club will take on Arambagh Krira Sangha with an aim to become group champions in their last group B match of the Federation Cup Football scheduled to be held tomorrow at Bangabandhu National Stadium.

The match kicks off at 5.45 pm, following the day’s another group B match between Brothers Union Club and Uttar Baridhara Club that begins at 3.15 pm.

Saif Sporting Club already sat at a comfortable position from group B, but none of the four teams of group B have confirmed their spot of quarterfinal. Saif have secured six points from two matches with two successive victories and they will need only a draw against Arambagh to go to the quarterfinal after being as group champions.

Arambagh have three points from two matches with one win and one loss and they will have to beat Saif with good margin to become group champions to qualify for the quarterfinal in their last match.

On the other hand, Uttar Baridhara Club also has a chance to become group champions with one win and one loss. In that case they must have to win against Brothers Union Club with a big margin and will have to wait for the result of the Saif-Arambagh match.

Brothers Union Club, despite losing the two group matches, also have a slim chance to qualify for the next round. In that case the all orange Gopibagh outfit must have to win against Uttar Baridhara Club with a bigger margin and will have to wait for the match result between the Saif-Arambagh match.
