Journalist Zafar Wazed’s mother dies
DHAKA, Dec 27, 2020 (BSS)- Begum Rokeya Ismat Ali, mother of Director General of Press Institute Bangladesh (PIB) and Ekushey Padak winning journalist Zafar Wazed, died of old-age complications at her residence in Rampura this afternoon.She was 95.
She left behind four sons, three daughters, two sons-in-law and a host of relatives to mourn her death, said a press release.
She will be buried at Elliottganj family graveyard underDaudkandi upazila in Cumilla district tonight aftera namaj-e-janaza.
