RAJSHAHI, Dec 27, 2020 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged woman drug-peddler with 773 yaba tablets from Odara village under Charghat upazila in the district last night, said RAB sources here today.
The arrested was identified as Monwara Begum, 45, wife of late Jarman Ali of Raotha Ghoshpara village under the same upazila.
On a tip off, a team of the RAB conducted a raid at the village around 8.50 pm and arrested her.
The Rab team also recovered 773 yaba pills from her possession.
A case was recorded with Charghat police station and the arrested person along with the seized yaba was handed over to police.
