5.4-magnitude quake hits 105 km ESE of Kokopo, Papua New Guinea – USGS

HONG KONG, Dec. 27, 2020 (BSS/Xinhua) – An earthquake with a magnitude of
5.4 jolted 105 km ESE of Kokopo, Papua New Guinea at 02:32:10 GMT on Sunday,
the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 80.72 km, was initially determined to be at
4.6209 degrees south latitude and 153.1776 degrees east longitude.
