Chhagalnaiya, Bagerhat Collegiate reach final of School football
DHAKA, Dec 24, 2020 (BSS) – Chhagalnaiya Govt. Pilot High School of
Feni and Bagerhat Multipurpose Collegiate School, Bagerhat stormed
into the final of final round of National School Football tournament
eliminating their respective rivals in the semifinals held today at
Birshrestha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city’s
Kamalapur.
The final between the two sides will be held on Saturday (December
26) at the outer stadium in Palton.
In the day’s first semifinal, Chhagalnaiya Govt. Pilot High School
of Feni blanked Moulana Bad High School of Jhenaidah by 3-0 goals.
In the day’s match, Mustasir scored a brace while Ishak supported
him with a lone goal for the winners.
Mustasir of the winning team was named the player of the match for
his impressive performance.
In the day’s second semifinal, Bagerhat Multipurpose Collegiate
School, Bagerhat defeated Nouhata Govt. High School of Rajshahi by 2-1
goals.
In the day’s proceeding, Hasan Hawlader and Pewal Biswash scored
one goal each for Bagerhat while Abu Siyam netted the lone goal for
Nouhata.
Faisal Ahmed Bappi of Nouhata was named the player of the match for
his outstanding performance in the match.
A total of eight school teams, split into two groups, took part in
the final round.
