Arambagh KS beat Brothers Union 2-0 in Fed. Cup Football
DHAKA, Dec 23, 2020 (BSS)- Arambagh Krira Sangha made a winning start as they recorded a 2-0 goal victory over Brothers Union Club in the Federation Cup Football tournament held today at Bangabandhu National Stadium here.
In the day’s match, Chizoba and Murad scored one goal each in both the half of the match to ensure Arambagh’s easy victory.
Chizoba put Arambagh ahead in the 44th minute while Murad sealed the victory scoring the second goal for Arambagh in the 90th minute of the match.
Arambagh dominated the entire proceeding and notched their deserving victory while Brothers Union Club were totally off-colored on the day.
Arambagh will play against Uttor Baridhara Club while Brothers Union meet Saif Sporting Club in their next respective group matches scheduled to be held on December 26 at the same venue.
Thursday’s matches: Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra Limited vs Bangladesh Police Football team at 4.45 pm and Abahani Limited, Dhaka vs Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited at 7.15 pm.
