DPS STS School beat SJK Kuen Cheng of Myanmar in Online School Chess
DHAKA, Dec 23, 2020 (BSS)- DPS STS School, Dhaka won against SJK Kuen Cheng of Myanmar in the preliminary phase of the World Online School Chess Tournament, Expo Dubai now being held on online chess platform 24chess.com, said a Bangladesh Chess Federation press release today.
The match started today (Wednesday) at 12 pm (Bangladeshi time), where DPS STS School Dhaka beat SJK Kuen Cheng of Myanmar by 5.5-1.5 games points.
Players of DPS STS School, Dhaka – Marzouq Chowdhury, Azher Hossain, Zaif khandkar, Mohaimin uddin Naib and Kazi Rawnak Alam Anan won their respective matches.
Earlier, DPS STS School beat Delhi Private School, Dubai by 7-0 games points in 3rd round.
More than 300 schools all over the world are participating in the event.
