Evil forces want to kill ideology of Bangabandhu: Razzaque
DHAKA, Dec 23, 2020 (BSS) – Agriculture Minister Dr Abdur Razzaque today said the perpetrators, who have killed Bangabandhu, are still active as they want to kill the ideology of Father of the Nation.
“They want to kill the ideology of Bangabandhu, that’s why they vandalised the sculpture of Bangabandhu,” said a press release quoted him as saying.
He said while inaugurating a mural of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on the premises of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council (BARC) at Farmgate in the city this morning.
Mentioning that sculpture and idol are not the same, he said “The aesthetic aspect of sculpture is an art. The sculpture of Bangabandhu is being constructed to preserve his memory and to spread his ideology and consciousness among all.”
Agriculture Secretary Mohammad Mesbahul Islam, Additional Secretary (Extension) of the Ministry Mohammad Hasanuzzaman Kallol, Executive Chairman of BARC Dr Sheikh Mohammad Bakhtiar, head of the organisation and officials as well as employees of different levels were present on the occasion.
