Moulana Bad HS edges past Horidaspur S & C in School Football
DHAKA, Dec 23, 2020 (BSS) – Moulana Bad High School of Jhenaidah finished their group phase match with a hard-fought solitary goal victory over Horidaspur Royel Technical School and College of Gopalganj in a final round match of the National School Football tournament held today at Outer stadium, Palton in the city.
After the barren first half, Inteqab scored the all-important goal for Moulana Bad in the 85th minute of the match.
Kutub Mia of Moulana Bad was named the player of the match for his impressive performance in the match.
In the day’s second match, Alhaj Jomirun Norr High School of Sunamganj split points with Nouhata Govt. High School of Rajshahi when their match ended in a tame goalless draw held at the same venue.
Tashim Uddin of Alhaj Jomirun Noor High School was named the player of the match for his brilliant performance
A total of eight school teams, split into two groups, took part in the final round.
